As the event comes closer we usually receive lots of emails asking us questions about the day.

We will post all the replies online so riders’ concerns are dealt with without the need to contact us.

Is accommodation available at Bishop Burton College?

Yes. Overnight accommodation is available on the Bishop Burton College campus. The cost is £35/night for a single room on a room only basis. Please contact the college directly to book:

When will the final arrangements for the event be published?

The final arrangements for the event are published here on the event website and also emailed to all entrants approximately 7 days before the event. These contain details of all the necessary arrangements you will need to have a safe and enjoyable day.

I have heard that the event HQ has changed. Is this true?

In order to accommodate the increasing number of entrants safely, in 2014 we moved the event HQ from Longcroft School to Bishop Burton College, a few miles away. This has the advantage of removing the busy section of ‘A’ road from Cherry Burton to Molescroft roundabout, however, the route distances have had to change slightly to account for the switch.

When can you enter the Big G Cyclosportive?

Entries will open before the end of February 2016, and you are able to enter via the black ‘Enter’ tab of the site, unless the event you wish to ride is fully subscribed.

I have entered the event and can no longer ride. Can you refund my entry please?

Sorry, but no, however we are quite happy for you to give/sell your entry to a friend or another rider, provided you sort out all the payments details yourself.

Up to 7 days before the event, simply email us all the replacement rider’s details and we will swap the entry over to them for you. After that time we cannot make any changes.
